I just found your blog, and I really enjoy it. I did give up on the Hi-Tec C after this, I was about half way through the ink cartridge when it started free flowing ink and writing very scratchy. I think the Ball in the point fell out. This was the second Hi-Tec-C in a row that did this, so I was pretty disappointed.

Glad you found the site! I haven't had that experience yet with any of my Hi-Tec-C pens, but I do have one or two that don't perform as well as the others. I'll be sure to keep an eye out.
